I was going to give four stars instead of five, after all this is a nice place but nothing extraordinary, but I opted for five to balance some of the harshly unfair reviews others have posted.

We stopped there on July 4th for a late lunch before fireworks and everything was truly wonderful. The crowd was moderate and everyone was in a festive mood. The food was very good and contrary to the opinion of Tammy K. (who by the way needs to brush up on her grammar - what is "my daughter wings?"), the coleslaw was excellent. We both had the balsamic chicken breast and were not at all disappointed. Above all we were thoroughly impressed with Kaley. Obviously we all experience different servers in different establishments but Kaley was EVERYTHING one would hope for. She was so sweet, so polite and courteous, knew everything about the menu and was able to answer all our questions and offer recommendations, very efficient and prompt with everything, and seriously so wonderful that we asked the manager to give her a raise.

Seriously, people, lighten up. This is not Le Cirque. No one goes to a sports pub seeking a fine dining experience. Anyone who patronizes this establishment should understand what he or she has opted for and accept what is offered. For what 99 in Danbury purports to provide to its patrons, it exceeds expectations. Period.

There's nothing too special about it. The prices are very reasonable for the amount and quality of the food. The staff is always friendly and my fiancé and I always have a good time.

Horrible service .....!!!! Ordered a T-bone steak  and it was half rare half cooked. Manager tells me that that's how medium well is. Excuse me?! Never heard if that before. I'm a southerner and have eaten plenty of steaks and..... Then another manager brings me a porter house. And it's half the same. They didn't offer to take anything off the check. Been to this location a few times and I've never had issues. I'm guessing because the steaks were new items for them and they don't know how to prepare them. Very disappointed  n this trip. Mind you how much my check was for a family of 9? 4 of us ordered steaks. Rude managers and service. Train your managers on how to respond to bad service and what to do to make it right. Horrible is the only thing I can really say. The kids didn't even enjoy their food. "You should have taken pics of it all. Kids always eat!"

4 stars for the travel/hotel food category. This regional chain restaurant is not a bad choice, when traveling. I knew to keep the order simple, so I had the New England Seafood Chowder and the HUGE Sirloin Tip Heart of Caesar Salad. The prices are pleasantly affordable and  the meal was very good. I would definitely recommend it for families.

Luke-warm food, sub par service, left dirty dishes and garbage on the table. Checked in on us when we were nearly done with our lunch. I ordered dessert and the server almost walked away without taking the rest of the dessert order for the table!

Now two weeks after speaking to two different managers and having both of them wanting to send a gift card to get us to come back I haven't received anything! Talk about a lack of customer service!!
